Feng shui is an ancient wisdom that came from China thousands of years ago. Its principal is based on ying-yang & five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water) theory. In this philosophy, there are chi (life force, energy) flow in everytning...human beings, animals, plants, and any spaces such as home, office and gardens. Also these energies are categorized in one of five elements, and they interact each other by giving positive and negative impacts to each other. Feng shui teaches us how to balance energies in us and in spaces, and as a result of harmony, we can expect fortune and success in our relationship, health, career and or prosperity.

Feng shui spread to the world from China, to Japan, America, India and European countries and has been arranged in unique ways that fits each cultures. One of the most well known feng shui styles in the U.S. is called Black Hat Feng Shui. (It's often referred as Wenstern Feng Shui or BTB) Another type of Feng Shui - Flying Star is said to be the most powerful method.

Ai's style is more influenced by Japanese style since she learned fenig shui interior coordinating in Japan. But she uses multiple styles of feng shui technique such as BTB and eight mansion. She applies essences of feng shui's philosophy into interior and color coordinating to make people living space balanced. Whatever styles of feng shui you choose, it should be something you really feel good about and comfortable with.

ちなみにアメリカで一番人気の風水スタイルはブラック・ハットと呼ばれるものです。他にも、最もパワフルな風水として知られるフライングスターなども人気があります。
